5 Tips for Effectively Working from Home – #WFH

5 Tips for Effectively Working From Home #WFH 

1. Plan.

Start each and every day with a plan. 

Start your day listing out just a couple of goals for the day and a couple of to-do items that are high priority. Above all, by accomplishing a smaller amount of goals and to-do items that are high impact, you will find yourself happier at the end of the day! 

2. Do not disturb. 

This is one of the best features on today’s phones and electronic devices. This feature will force you to keep you on task and avoid the distraction of calls, messages, and social media notifications.

3. Get comfy.

Find a comfortable place to set up your workstation with plenty of light and space. Avoid working in cramped and dark locations. 

4. Hydrate. 

Not often seen as a productivity hack, but having a bottle or cup of your favorite low-calorie, low-sugar drink offers hydration support, curbs snacking, and when your drink is finished it’s a way to stretch your legs a bit!

5. Move your body!

If you haven’t already, set your phone timer to go off every 55 min. And when it goes off, whatever you’re doing, pause and take a walk, use the bathroom, or just stretch.
